We have launched our #FINSFreeFebruary Standard PADI Open Water Course to start daily. We also keep our class size ratio down to only maximum 2 students per 1 Rumblefish PADI Sharks Conservation Instructor, this course now will have more a lot practice opportunities and dive time for our students.

Course Information 

PADI Standard Open Water Diver Course, Special price for February 2020: 13,900 THB (duration: 3 days, 8-10 hours in-water training, 4 course training dives, 1 Sharks Conservation Advanced Adventure** dive and 1 fun dive on a boat trip to Phi Phi Island Marine Park). 

** The Project AWARE Sharks Conservation Adventure Dive is credited as one dive toward the PADI Advance Course (5 dives) when you complete the dive and knowledge reviews with your Instructor. 

Standard PADI Open Water Diver Course Includes:

  • PADI Elearning lite access to complete academic, quizzes and exam independently online
  • Complete set of rental Scuba Dive Equipment (BCD/Reg, dive computer, fins & mask, shortie wetsuit, SMB use)
  • Dive with Dive Computer training
  • Very small class ratio, 2 students to 1 Instructor
  • Pool & confined open water training (5 sessions, 3-4 hours)
  • Open Water training dives on Kata Reef and boat trip to Phi Phi Marine Park 
  • One FREE Project WARE Sharks Conservation Adventure Dive
  • One FREE fun dive at Sharks Point Marine Sanctuary, weather permitting
  • Basic Accident Insurance during your course
  • Choose: a FREE ‘Love for Manta Rays’ collectible T-shirt or a recycled neoprene mask strap (while supplies lasted)

Typical Schedule (3 in-water training days)

  • Before arrival: book & confirm the course date, receive Elearning lite access and complete academic requirements leisurely from home. 
  • Day 1 (8AM): Admin / Basic Skills intro & OW Dive 1 / Practical OW skills training
  • Day 2 (8AM): OW Dives 2 & 3 
  • Day 3 (7:30AM): depart for Phi Phi Marine Park, OW Dive 4, Sharks Conservation Adv Dives / final discussion and certification
