Care & Share

Care & Share Initiative (updated 2021)

In our small community of Kata Beach, Phuket, we experienced the worst business disruption ever since it became a town in 1999. We had gone through some of the most challenging natural disaster (2004 tsunami) and human created disasters (2003 SARS epidemic, 2009 H1N1 Influenza virus epidemic) and Thailand political upheavals (2006 military coup, 2010 deadly demonstration, 2014 military coup). The recent economic disaster, started by the Covid-19 Virus and led to global governments panic responses, had been the most trialing time for humanity and the residents of this little beach town.

UPDATED, 01 June 2021 – As Rumblefish Adventure’s quietly completed our 19th year in diving anniversary, our survival resources had dwindled after 16 months and counting of being restricted by the authority to operate our business and project. Despite losses and not able to earn a living, we want to ensure that we have done all we can and assist the residents in our small local community, facing even tougher times during this current crisis. We share what we earn from work in diving with our Care & Share Initiatives. You can join us by simply do what you love, go diving with us.

Care for Our Marine Environment

Read about our Kata Reef Buoys Line project, completed just 2 weeks before Phuket Pandemic Lockdown in March 2020. We joined Phuket Hotel Association at the end of March as part of the Phuket’s Green Day 2021, click here for stories and photos about our volunteers and supporters.

If you are currently living in Phuket, you can join us as volunteer divers to keep our reef and beaches cleaned from deadly debris, visit and follow our Facebook Page for more information on our next beach & underwater clean-up event.

Community Care

During the April and May 2020 complete lock-down of our little town, we focused our resources and effort to assist families of migrant workers with young children. Thailand government panic decision to shut down the businesses and lock in all of the town residents created very detrimental situations for the thousands of unemployed workers, without means to feed children and themselves. The current crisis started by the 3rd COVID infection has hit even harder, as life packs are donated throughout the island to help, little to zero support are being offered to the toddlers and infants by local charities, government and NGOs.

Fortunately in 2020, we were joined by many divers, friends and colleagues, helping us via our Care & Share Gift Cards purchases, providing us with additional funding to purchase of milk for children (our TOP priority), basic subsistence such as rice, instant noodles and canned food for single parent families. We are happy to announce that we have completed the fundraising and support to provide milk for children during the economic crisis of 2021.

Thank you for caring and sharing!
