Phuket IDC Legal Work Internship
We have openings for PADI IDC to Instructor Internship for our 2019-20 Phuket Dive Season. These positions are available for PADI Divemaster or any dive leaders from other training organizations to apply (SSI, SDI, RAID, NAUI and GUE are welcome to apply). If you read to this point, then you are serious about looking for the proper professional training programs to advance your dive professional credentials. Please read on below for the program details.

Our training program is not an ‘IDC Factory.’ We focus on training and development of our professional candidates. For the chosen candidates, we offer proper paperwork to apply for qualified employment Thai Visa right after you complete the IDC with us. We also include LEGAL work permit, salary for teaching courses, tips for excellent customer services and Thailand required employment & social security taxes for the internship candidates. Basically, you are in the program LEGALLY according to the Labor Law of Thailand.

Below are summary info of the training the candidates will receive during the Internship program.

Internship Program Dates:
- 8 April – 15 August 2019 (2 positions open for application)
- 15 October 2019 – 15 February 2020 (2 positions open for application)
- 14 November 2019 – 13 February 2020 (2 positions open for application)
Training Programs: DM Skills Review (2 days) + IDC Prep (1 day) + Instructor Development Course (IDC, 9 days) + EFR Instructor Course (1 day) + Instructor Examination (2 days) + Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep Program (5 specialties instructor training) Ratings gain at completion: up to 7 Instructor certifications

Detailed Inclusions:
1. √ Three months LEGAL Work Internship after successfully passing the IDC & IE (includes: Thai Visa & Work Permit, weekly salary for teaching and tips for exceptional customer service performance)
2. All PADI Required Instructor Materials (PADI IDC Basic Pak, #60143: Instructor Guide to Teaching, slates, exam booklets & Digital specialties Instructor Manual)
3. EFR Instructor Guides: CPR/1st AID & Care for Children
4. Core competency specialties training: EANx∞, Deep, Sharks Conservation, Oxygen Provider & Navigation (or choose from Digital Underwater Photography, Search & Recovery, Night [only Oct-April], Gas Blender∞ plus more) ∞ Additional pre-requisite apply.
5. Access to our PADI latest training materials for your IDC Prep (complete at your own pace prior to arrival)
6. Business Start-up hands-on Training: Hostel, equipment services & purchasing, Social Media Marketing, and other types of advertising like using covers for heras fencing and more.
7. Receive Dealer discounts (30% or more) for equipment purchases from Aqualung, Scuba Pro, Suunto, SEAC and more!
8. Shared accommodation in our Divers’ Hostel during your internship, conveniently located in the the center of Kata Beach and just a short walk to our Kata Reef Dive Site
9. Employment placement: Upon completion, we will assist you to set-up interviews with our strategic dive center & resort partners around Asia when you are ready to commit to further employment

Gain confidence to explore beyond the entry level limit! We welcome Phuket best months of dive conditions with a great combination training program for the avid divers looking to gain more practical training for the next adventures. You can follow the lure of the deep… There’s something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving. Sometimes it’s a wreck that attracts you below 18 meters/60 feet, and on wall dives it may be a giant fan or sponge. Whatever it is, to scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 meters/130 feet, you should take the PADI Advanced and Deep Diver Specialty courses.
