PADI Rescue Diver & Emergency First Response (EFR)

Our Rescue Diver training program helps you become not only a self-rescuer but capable to assist other divers and non-divers. You will learn very useful and important information while practicing the real-life rescue skills.  

Most people agree this course is the most rewarding course!  Emergency First Response (CPR and First Aid) Course is also available to meet the prerequisite Rescue Diver certification.

Our prices are ALL INCLUSIVE of PADI, EFR Elearning and certification upon training completion. We have proper emergency equipment for your Rescue Training: inclusive of dive equipment rental, safety training gear for the course (Manikins, emergency oxygen, CPR mask, floats).

Sample Course Schedule

Day 1: completed your course Elearning before arriving for your training.  After Course Orientation, you will attend the skills practical for the Emergency First Response Course, Emergency Oxygen Orientation & Rescue Equipment preparation.

Day 2: You will demonstrate and practice the required rescue training exercises to assist tired diver, panic diver at the surface and underwater and learn rescue search patterns to locate a missing diver.

Day 3: Your rescue training will be focusing on assisting unconscious and non-breathing diver, both underwater and at surface, with practice in towing, carrying and removing the injured diver out of the water.

The training dive site for day 2 and 3 will be at the lagoon area off Kata Bay or from the boat at Raya Islands (to be decided by your instructor during training for ability and time availability).

Rescue Diver Prerequisites

  • Be certified as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent from other organization)
  • Be certified CPR/1st AID within last 24 months prior to be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver
