Phuket Shore Dives

Phuket west coast beaches offer easy access to dive sites that can be done in just an hour or two. Shore dives are found along the main beaches on the west coast or just a few minutes from shore by a local wooden motor-boat (The traditional Longtail boat). Snorkeling also is easily done without requiring a guide. The dive sites are available Nov-April annually.

Where is Kata Beach Reef?

Kata Reef, named as one of Asia Best Shore Dive sites by Asian Diver Magazine, is known as the ‘nursery’ of Thailand. You can see more macro marine life, juveniles and baby fish here than any other place in the Andaman sea. It is perfect not only for first time divers, training dives, night dives and refresher dives but also a great place for photographers and experienced divers who loves the Macro critters.

Karon Rock, Koh Pu & the Mystery Deep Cubes (can be reached by our PRIVATE Longtail boat in 5-10 minutes, great Half-day Dive Trip option) are suitable for beginners and experienced divers with cameras on a short excursion to see as many unique and vibrant marine life as on any day trip to nearby islands; 5 species of eels, seahorses, Ghost pipefish, Stick pipefish, stonefish, 4 species of scorpionfish, nudibranchs, schooling fish storm, stingrays, turtles, various shrimps & crabs and much more. EASY, FUN & POPULAR!
