Dive Sites Information
The Hat Nopparat Thara Marine Park located approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes east of Phuket, includes Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Lei, Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai. The only inhabited place in this group is Phi Phi Don. White sandy beaches, limestone caverns, and clear blue water are the main attraction of the Phi Phi Islands (also famous for being the location for the film, The Beach).
Most of the dive sites in this area offer interesting underwater landscapes such as swim-through, great overhung walls and boulder crevices. Divers always get great marine life experience in the park. With amazing tens of thousands schooling of yellow snappers for distraction, the highlight sightings are the Hawksbill turtles and Blacktip reef sharks.
The underwater topography is of soft, hard corals and limestone. Dives are usually drift, mid-water without sandy bottom.
