Sample Standard Course Schedule
Prior to arrival: Confirm your course schedule, complete deposit, fill out administrative form online, register your PADI E-learning online and complete your course independent study from home.
- Day 1
After arrival: Settle your course balance payment, equipment fitting session, you then will head to the dive training pool or shallow beach lagoon (during November to April) with your instructor to complete your PADI open water skills training dives. Our instructor will train you to reach competency of the required skills needed to safely dive in the ocean.
- Day 2
(during November to April) Meet at the Dive Center in the morning. You will do two dives at Kata Bay.
For diving from boat trip, you will be pick-up by a shuttle van to the Chalong Pier for a trip to the Raya Islands (includes: breakfast, buffet style lunch, fruit, tea, coffee and drinking water). After completing your skills, the fun part begins…underwater exploration! You will be done by about 1:30 pm for dives from Kata Bay or about 3:30pm for dives from boat trip.
- Day 3
You will be pick-up by a shuttle van to the Chalong Pier in the morning and board a spacious, comfortable dive boat. You will complete your course dives at a scheduled dive sites (Phi Phi Marine Park or the Raya Islands) and all the necessary skills for the course certification. Then more fun underwater exploration. You will return to Chalong Pier around 5:00 – 7:00 pm (depending on trip destination).
Prerequisites
- Be able to swim non-stop for 200 meters and maintain yourself in deep water for at least 10 minutes
- Must be at least 10 years old
