Announcement: Internship Application is open for our upcoming 2026 dive season.
We offer our PADI instructor candidates with opportunities to qualify for PADI IDC+ with Practical Internship during the 2025 Phuket Dive Season. These coveted positions are opened to PADI Divemasters or any dive leaders from other training organizations (SSI, SDI, RAID, NAUI and GUE are very welcome to apply). PADI Instructor Internship General Information
Our PADI IDC training program is not an ‘IDC Factory’ like other popular locations in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Our primary focus is on training and development of our professional candidates (maximum 4 at a time per IDC class). For the selected candidate qualifying in one of our Practical Internship, we offer the followings to our interns:
- Proper supporting paperwork to apply for qualified Thai Visa (varied depending on nationalities) before you travel to Phuket for the IDC and IE.
- Receive Mentoring support from our founder, PADI Course Director and experienced PADI Master Instructors during the internship program.
- 100% Instructor Examination Success for our internship candidates
- Gain opportunity to apply for employment in Phuket and surrounding countries during the internship, as they are becoming available.
- FREE shared accommodation available during the internship, with opportunities for earnings stipend, tips for excellent customer services and bonuses for additional sales

- Divemaster Skills & Knowledge Review (2 days)

- Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep Program (PADI Specialties Instructor training, on going during the Internship)
Pro Certifications & Ratings gain at completion: up to 8 Instructor certifications
General Inclusions in the Program:
- √ 1 to 3 months Practical Internship (depending on candidate’s qualified stay with Thailand Visa) after successfully passing the IDC & IE (includes: earning for teaching and tips for exceptional customer service performance)
- All PADI Required Instructor Digital Materials ( PADI IDC Elearning, Digital Instructor Guide to Teaching, Instructor slates, core Exam digital booklets, Dive Theory digital Diving Knowledge Workbook, Specialty Instructor Guides)
- EFR Instructor Elearning Pak: CPR/1st AID & Care for Children
- Five PADI specialties instructor training: EANx∞, Deep, Sharks Conservation, Oxygen Provider & Wreck (or choose from Self-Reliant Diver∞, Digital Underwater Photography, Search & Recovery, Night, Gas Blender∞, Navigation, Adaptive Support Diver∞ plus more) ∞ Additional pre-requisite required.
- Access to use all of our Dive Center Specialized equipment (pony tanks, branded fins for Tec or Rec, underwater lights, cameras and more), and our PADI latest training materials for your IDC and IE Prep
- FREE PADI Self-Reliant Specialty Diver Course (includes all training and specialized equipment rental to complete the course requirements. Not includes PADI Certification credit)

- Learn & Earn during your Internship program (you keep what you earn when you successfully conducted PADI courses, programs or leading dives. Our internship is not a “pay to work for free” type like other locations)
- Employment placement: Upon completion successfully, we will assist you to set-up interviews with our strategic dive center & resort partners around Asia when you are ready to commit to further employment.

Note: Not included in the program are PADI Application fees and Instructor Examination fee. Prices are subject to change without notice by PADI, we do not collect these fees for PADI. Instructor candidates pay directly to PADI Office.
PADI Fees (2025)
Below are the PADI required costs that you will need to account for. All of the administrative processes are handled by the PADI Asia Pacific Office in Sydney, Australia. Your application fees are to be paid (via Credit Card or bank transfer) directly to PADI office in Australian Dollars.
- Instructor Examination: 1,190 AUD (pay online)
- Instructor Application Processing Fee: 350 AUD (pay online)
- Emergency First Response Instructor Application Fee: 242 AUD (pay online)
- Specialty Instructor Certification Method 1 (Submit application after you completed training with your Course Director): 139 AUD per specialty instructor rating (pay via pdf application)
