We have openings for PADI IDC with Employment Internship for our 2019-20 Phuket Dive Season. These positions are opened for interviews to any PADI Divemaster or any dive leaders from other training organizations (SSI, SDI, RAID, NAUI and GUE are very welcome to apply). About the Program
Our PADI IDC training program is not an ‘IDC Factory.’ We focus on training and development of our professional candidates (4 at a time per IDC). For the chosen candidates staying on for our Work Internship, we offer proper paperwork to apply for qualified employment Thai Visa right after you successfully complete the IDC and IE. We also include LEGAL work permit, salary for teaching courses, tips for excellent customer services and Thailand required employment & social security taxes for the internship candidates. Basically, you are in the program LEGALLY according to the Labor Law of Thailand.
Internship Program Dates:
- 8 July – 15 October 2019 (1 position open for application)
- 15 October 2019 – 15 February 2020 (2 positions open for application)
- 14 November 2019 – 13 February 2020 (2 positions open for application)
Below are summary information of the training the candidates can expect during the Internship program.
Training Programs: DM Skills Review (2 days) + IDC Prep (1 day) + Instructor Development Course (IDC, 9 days) + EFR Instructor Course (1 day) + Instructor Examination (2 days) + Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep Program (5 specialties instructor training) Ratings gain at completion: up to 7 Instructor certifications
Detailed Inclusions:
- √ Three months LEGAL Work Internship after successfully passing the IDC & IE (includes: Thai Visa support & Work Permit, weekly salary for teaching and tips for exceptional customer service performance)
- All PADI Required Instructor Materials (PADI IDC Basic Pak, #60143: Instructor Guide to Teaching, slates, exam booklets & Digital specialties Instructor Manual)
- EFR Instructor Guides: CPR/1st AID & Care for Children
- Core competency specialties training: EANx∞, Deep, Sharks Conservation, Oxygen Provider & Navigation (or choose from Digital Underwater Photography, Search & Recovery, Night [only Oct-April], Gas Blender∞ plus more) ∞ Additional pre-requisite apply.
